SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed with regards to the high quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is a result of the lack of infrastructure here at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area every day.
